To commemorate the release of Lone Star's new German Kölsch, we created a campaign that would focus mainly in retail environments to entice customers to try the new beer. OktoberTex was one of the concepts presented for the release to celebrate the Texas and German roots of the brand.

 

Oktobertex Block Party Sweepstakes:

Shoppers will have the chance to win their own OktoberTex block party to share with their friends and neighbors. Complete with plenty of iconic Texas BBQ sausages, kegs of Lone Star bier and live music.

 

The Sound of OktoberTex:

German Polka and Mexican Banda Music are surprisingly similar. So, we will get a famous Texas Banda band to bring the cross culture sound to our throwdown. The entry mechanic for the sweeps will be sound bites from our band on social media. If you guess the cover you are entered to win.

Party Favors (POS):
Lone Star will bring the party to retail with pennants, flags, tablecloths and plastic clip-on stein tops for your bier bottles and cans.
